Walking

We act as a centre for walking groups who want to explore Co. Clare. On our doorstep, there is an abundance of quiet countryside routes off the beaten track. We are located in the heart of East Clare in the Slieve Aughty mountain range and beside Lough Derg and Lough Graney. The Burren and Wild Atlantic Way are 40 minutes away. We can arrange guided walks and during the summer guided night time walks. We can offer bus services for large groups and can provide for all food requirements if requested.

Fishing

We are located in a region with over 50 lakes. We are 15 minutes from Lough Derg and 5 minutes from Lough Graney. We can also arrange fly fishing lessons on request.

Group Activities

You would have exclusive use of the Ecolodge and grounds.

We can arrange many group activities from local providers. Milliner workshops, dancing workshops, singing lessons, horse riding treks, paint balling, go-karting, watersports, forest walks, yoga classes, Banquet Feast. There is also an assault courses in the local area and team sports in the local sports facilities. There are four pubs in the village all with something to offer

Team Building

There are special facilities for team building close by offering assault courses and watersports facilities for large groups. Staying in Feakle is perfect for large groups as the village is small but has a lot going on on weekends. It is a great location for team building and bonding. There is also a local sports facility for team sports.

Weddings

We can cater for over 50 people and have been a venue for wedding parties many times. We cater for all budgets and have 12 acres of secluded land behind the main building for marquees if numbers are greater than 100. Our on-site industrial kitchen can provide for all catering requirements. Clare Ecolodge is an ideal location for a private and intimate big day. We can also provide music and entertainment.
